I too believe strongly that an ACLU compromised by its repeated failures to practice what it preaches threatens its credibility and effectivness.

The repeated breaches of principle by the ACLU leadership not only reflect a basic disrespect for the values that the ACLU was created to defend, they threaten the future of our nation’s leading civil liberties organization.

That is why I am adding my name to other caring friends of the ACLU and call upon responsible members of the national board and the entire ACLU family to recognize and remedy this crisis before it’s too late.
